You Can Help Students

As a faculty, instructor, or staff member at St. 云州 University, you have the ability to inform and guide students towards the resources that are often needed by a student navigating the college experience. In your messaging to students – via syllabi, D2L, and other in-person or virtual communications, consider including one or all of these statements.

Husky Assistance and Care Team (ACT)
The Husky Assistance and Care Team (ACT) is a multi-disciplinary group lead by the 教务长 at St. 云州 University that meets regularly to coordinate supportive interventions for students exhibiting behaviors that indicate distress, cause a disruption to the campus, and/or affect their wellbeing or that of the community. Members of the team determine the best course of action to support the student of concern and coordinate outreach to them and others in the affected community. The BIT team also serves as a resource for staff and faculty by providing consultations and responding to referrals.

Our website offers the following tools and resources for staff and faculty

Office of 社区 Standards
The area of Student Affairs formerly known as “Student Conduct Programs” is now the “Office of 社区 Standards.” While the office is still responsible for oversight of the Student Code of 社区 Standards, the name change reflects our commitment to broaden the scope of the office to include informal resolution options and seek to align sanctions with Our Husky Compact. The name emphasizes the aspiration of positively and proactively helping all students to live into the standards of St. 云州 University, the various professional standards of our majors, and standards for student organizations, 居住生活, and other communities within the institution.

哈士奇家庭中心
Student success improves when parents and families are engaged in their student’s college experience. 教师 and staff are encouraged to sign up for the 哈士奇家庭中心 so you can familiarize yourself with the information posted. 请 澳门威尼斯人娱乐城 if you are interested in learning how your office/department can add content to the Family Hub.
